“For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.” (Matt 12:37) The bible says we are justified by the word we speak, either good or bad, words are seeds and it’s only a matter of time for the seed to bear fruit after it’s kind. When Jesus spoke to the tree in Mark 11:14, “…And He said to it, No one ever again shall eat fruit from you. And His disciples were listening [to what He said].” He turned and walked away. Right there, and then, there was no visible sign to Jesus or those with Him, that the Word Jesus spoke had any effect on that tree. But of course, now we know, that when Jesus walked away from that tree even though, it looked as if nothing changed, actually in the Spirit the Word Jesus spoke was working. The next day, between 12- 24 hours later, when Jesus and His disciples walked back, passing that same path where the tree was, Peter noticed the change in the Tree, “In the morning, when they were passing along, they noticed that the fig tree was withered [completely] away to its roots. And Peter remembered and said to Him, Master, look! The fig tree which You doomed has withered away! “(Mark 12:20-21) Therefore, it’s obvious that, in-between the time the Word was spoken, and the time it took to see a physical manifestation, the Word of Faith spoken by Jesus went to work at the root of that tree, and kept working until it became visible to the naked eyes. You see, even though not seen by the physical eyes, the WORD was working to produce the Fruit of the SEED sown. Now then, the bible says we are justified by the words we speak, (either negative or positive), so could it also be that, if Jesus had spoken a negative word, it could have hindered the WORD or stop the operation of the WORD of faith? Just trying to get us to stop, and think for a moment….., What we speak, whether positive or negative has POWER to produce. My friend, I hope you are encouraged today to hold onto your confession of faith and keeping on walking by faith and not by sight. It is only a matter of time, in the name of Jesus, this too shall pass. Amen! I am praying for you! God bless you!
