“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)
Watch And Pray
In times like this with outbreaks of diseases, troubles and distress, we can feel anxious about life and afraid, clueless and hopeless. about tomorrow. But we are not suppose to let anxiety and cares of life rule over us, instead we are to seek after the Kingdom of God. (Matthew 6:33).
In Jeremiah 32:27, the Lord says, “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? There is nothing impossible with God, even In trouble times, like this there is Good News. Jesus knows exactly what each of us will face in our entire life time. That’s why He comforts us with these words
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” (John 14:1)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
The Unshakable Kingdom of God
In turbulent times like this it may feel like everything is out of control, but trust me, God is in control. He created this world and all that is in it. “For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.” (Colossians 1:16)
And so, there is nothing impossible for God. He is in control no matter how difficult and impossible things look. God knew before hand what the future looks like. and He has made provision for every thing we will ever need in this world through the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Though there is a shaken going on in this world but this shaken is to Awaken us!
These occurrences are signs of the time we are living in. The Bible warns us of these turbulent events. They are the preceding signs indicating the second coming of Jesus Christ. In the Book of Matthew, Jesus warned His disciples about intolerable things that will occur before His second coming. (Matthew 24:3-8).
The Bible likened these troubling events to the pains of a woman at the beginning of labour or childbirth. What we are witnessing now is only the beginning of things to come. These occurrences will increase and become more intense in nature. (Matthew 24:21-22).
As such, the COVID 19 virus crisis we are facing now should warn and prepare us to be ready for the return of the Lord, Jesus Christ. This Global pandemic should cause us to stop and think. Repent and get our hearts right with the Lord before it’s too late! “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” (Hebrews 12:28).
Receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour
God has made a way for us into His unshakeable kingdom. This world is a shaken kingdom but the Kingdom of God is unshakeable. God has brought His unshakable kingdom to us through the Cross of Jesus Christ. When you are in Christ you are unshakeable. The peace that this world is looking for can only be found when our lives is hidden in Christ – The Unshakable Truth.
Beloved, God loves you and He is inviting you to enter into His kingdom today where you can receive forgiveness for all your sins making peace with God and finding rest for your soul.
Prayer For Salvation:
To accept Jesus Christ into your life, please say this prayer;
Dear God, thank you that you love me and you sent Your Son, Jesus Christ to die for me. I believe that He died and rose again for my Justification. Jesus come into my life. Wash away all my sins and give me a new heart to serve you. I turn away from my sin and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with the power of Your Holy Spirit and help me to follow you all the days of my life. In Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer For Protection Against Evil:
Dear God, thank you that you are my heavenly Father, I am now a child of God and I now belong in the unshakeable Kingdom of God. I have been raised up and seated with Christ ruling and reigning with Him in the heavenly realms. I have no fear in any area of my life for God has not given me the spirit of fear. The Holy Spirit is living in me. God has given me the Spirit of power, love and a sound mind. The Holy Spirit is with me comforting and guiding me everyday in the Word of God. And I have the wisdom of God to deal excellently in all my affairs. I am rooted and established for fruitful works of righteousness. I have no lack for God is my sustainer in life, He is my helper, provider and protector from all evil. No plague, virus or disease will come near me or my dwelling. By the stripes of Jesus I am healed and set free from every curse. I have overcome the wicked one because greater is He that lives in me than the evil one that is in this world. Thank you Father for your grace and protection. In Jesus Name, Amen.
