Growing in Faith

Young beautiful women - bye

“ Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” (Mark 11:23-24).

What needs are you facing today? Overdue bills, lack, incurable sickness or marital issues? Whatever the problem, I have some good news for you today, whatever your crisis maybe you can terminate them now and wave bye bye to those problems today. I’m not being cocky. The Bible says that our heavenly Father has provided everything we need physically and spiritually. (2 Peter 1:3). And through His Divine Life in us we have access to partake and enjoy His wonderful provisions. May be you have been praying about your problem and hoping that one day your prayer will be answered and things will change. Well, Let’s check what the Scriptures say about that line of reasoning. Take a look at Mark 11:23 to see what the Bible says about requesting in prayer and when we are to receive the answer.

From reading it seems very clear that we are to receive the answer the moment we pray. Also, the Bible clearly defines faith, Hebrews 11:1 says Faith is NOW, even though you can’t see the answer with the physical eyes yet. And so when we say things like, “God is going to heal me” “I’m going to be debt free” “I hope my kids turn out well” these statements speak hope. But my friend, the cutting edge of faith is NOW! Faith is a present tense not future tense. Faith believes it has received the answer the moment the prayer is said. After we pray, the role of Hope is to keep the door open until the Word becomes flesh or a tangible substance that we can see. (John 1:14). Hoping for what we desire is not wrong, we need Hope to help us to wait patiently, persevering until the answer shows up. But to take your answer to prayer from God, you must believe you receive the moment you pray.

You and I can receive answers to prayer just like Peter and the rest of the Apostles in the Bible, we have the same faith like the Apostles because Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2). Are you ready to receive your answer from God?

Prayer Confession: Thank you Father for your life is in me now. I am a partaker of the Divine Nature of Jesus and so supernatural living is my way of life. The just shall live by the faith of God. I live by the Word of God that abides forever. And I receive answer to my prayer now by the faith of Christ in me. I have supernatural breakthrough in Jesus Name. My spirit is flooded with light through the Word of God. I cannot stumble because I walk in love. Jesus Christ is the author and the finisher of my faith. My faith is not dead but alive. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places above the troubles of life. Supernatural peace and the abundant Joy of Christ is in me causing me to be victorious in every situation. Thank you Father that you cause all things to work together for my good. In Jesus Name. Amen!

Reflection: "So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word." (Hebrews 10:23).

I agree, however, what we are asking/believing for need to be in line with God’s Word and His Will. The deeper our relationship with Him is, the richer our intimacy with Him becomes and our will, our desires, our requests then align themselves with His and THEN we KNOW that we will have what we ask.

I’m only sharing this because there was a movement some years back that led people astray by telling them to “go to a car dealership, choose a car, lay hands on it and claim it in the Name of Jesus.” This is not scriptural whatsoever.

Hi Shade! Wow, this is a powerful post. Of course, I have my challenges and problems, and I pray constantly for them. But I never thought about the response being in ‘the present’ and speaking healing and power NOW. I love that! Wait patiently, but believe the answer is already there… Beautiful.

Really great and uplifting post today my friend!
