“So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.” (Hebrews 10:23).
It’s time we begin to take the limit off God. The Lord says in Isaiah 55:11, that He will not allow His Word to return void without accomplishing the purpose its sent for. When we choose to put our trust in God and hold on to His promise, the Lord watches over that Word to bring it pass! Confessing the Word of God is the very essence of a believer’s life. Jesus is our perfect example in demonstrating this, if you check out Matthew 4:1-11, you will see that throughout Jesus’ testing in the wilderness with Satan, the Lord’s responses to the devil was “It Is Written.” and “It Is Written.” And over, and over, the same response! It was the Word of God in the mouth of Jesus that gave Him the victory!
Now then, if I may ask you, “What are you speaking over your situation?” “Are you confessing fear in the devil or faith in God?” If you have been opening your ‘back door’ through fear for the devil to work in your life through your confession, let me encourage you today, Don’t allow fear to pin you to the wall with negative confessions any more! There is no limit to what God can do in your life if you have the faith to believe Him for it! My friend, start agreeing with who God says you are and what God says it’s yours in the Bible. Faith comes by hearing and hearing. As you confess the promises of God in the Scriptures, your faith will begin to grow and get stronger. The stronger your faith is, the easier it will be for you to start taking steps of faith in the right direction. It’s time to start creating your future with your mouth!
Prayer Confession:Thank you father, that you remain faithful to your Word. Through faith in your living Word i am victorious. Through faith the world was framed by God. And through faith in the Word, I will make my way forward. I refuse to glorify the devil, and so, I will magnify the bigness of my God with my confession. God is more than able to do what He has promised to do in His Word. Jesus has redeemed me from the curse of law, by His stripes I was healed. It is well with me in my body from the crown of my head to the soles f my feet, I plead the blood over my family, finances and over every area of my life. God is my hiding place. I am preserved from trouble. In the Lord I am surrounded by songs of deliverance. All things are working together for my good. In Jesus name. Amen.
Reflection:"Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.” 6 Let us be bold, then, and say,“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6). .
