The Fruit of Patience

Growing in Faith

1 Apr

Patience-2

Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.  But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing. (James 1:3-4)

One of the biggest mistakes a believer can make is the failure to realize the power of patience!
Persevering in develop the art of patience is not negotiable in receiving the promises of God, because once we ask God by faith, it is patience that keeps the door open until the answer to that prayer becomes a physical manifestation.

The importance of Patience can never be overestimated. It is even patience that keeps us hopeful! Every promise of God is a seed and we all know that seeds take time to process and become the expected harvest.

The moment we become impatient and get weary the enemy has the opportunity to drain our joy, then hopelessness sets in and downward slope begins. Instead of anticipating failure and disappointment, keep your hope up, expect the your breakthrough. Let patience have is perfect work in you so that you become wanting for nothing.

Prayer Confession:
I am who God says I am and I have what God says is mine in His Word. My faith is the evidence that the blessings of God shall become a physical manifestation in my life. I am walking in obedience to God’s will for my life and everything will work together for my good. The fruit of patience is sweet.  I fully expect the Lord to be good to me. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
