Take Your Problem to the Cross & Leave It There.

Growing in Faith

1 May

jesus-at-the-cross.2

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.” (Isaiah 53:5).

Not long ago, I had a particular situation in my hand, and of course I took it to the Lord in prayer. But even though I prayed about it, I kept rehearsing the problem over and over in my mind. I almost didn’t think about what I was doing until, I heard the Lord spoke this word to me, “Take your problem to the cross and leave it there”.  Immediately, that jolted me back to the reality of what I was doing. And I said to myself “Shade you’re an unbelieving believer”. Because, even though I prayed about the problem but I didn’t believe in my prayer.

What i’m saying is this, when I prayed about it, I gave the problem to the Lord, but when I started worrying about it again, it meant I took the problem back, from the Lord’s hand and placed it back on myself. That is why the Holy Spirit rebuked me and encouraged me to leave the situation in His hand. I repented and ask God to forgive me for allowing the spirit of doubt and unbelief to rob me of the peace and joy Jesus paid for me with His precious Blood. And to God be the Glory, not long after that the Lord gave me the breakthrough I needed! Hallelujah! At the Cross Jesus paid the price to set us free and make us whole spirit, soul and body.

My friend what about you? Whatever  maybe the problem in your hand to today, you don’t have to carry the burden,  Jesus already did that for you. ( Isaiah 53:4-5).  Let me encourage, to do this;  Take that problem to the cross because that is where it belongs. And when you take it to the cross, leave it there in the Lord’s hand, don’t allow worrying and anxiety to steal your peace and joy anymore. Believe that God is able to do it for you. Trust in the Lord for a supernatural turnaround in Jesus Name!

Prayer confession:
Father, thank you for the Cross . On the cross Jesus became sin for me, He was wounded for my transgression, bruised for my iniquities, He was chastised for my peace, by the stripes He took I was healed and made whole in my spirit, physical body, finances and every area of my Life. Therefore, I refuse to carry this problem any longer (mention your specific problem or need), I leave it in the hand of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From this moment on, I cast all my cares and worries about it unto the Lord. I will renew my mind daily with the Word of God. I am a believer, not doubter. I receive supernatural peace of Christ. The Joy of the Lord is now my strength. I declare by faith, I serve a might God and He has given me the victory. And I shall testify in due season that I serve a miracle working God indeed. In Jesus Might Name! Amen!

Reflection: Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,7 Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully." (1 Peter 5:6-7)
