Letting Go & Letting God

“Is anything too difficult I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27.

Are you facing a dead end? Do you need God to make a way for you? If that is you, then you need a Miracle and the good news is that, there is absolutely nothing too difficult for God to do. I want to repeat that again, Yes,there is absolutely nothing impossible for God. However, what is difficult for God is us. We make our situation unnecessarily difficult when we want to tell God, When, How, or Where to do it. We think God should answer our prayer in a desired or particular way.

Naaman Captain of the Syrian army needed healing, he came to prophet Elisha believing God to heal him. And he knew how he wanted God to do it, Naaman  expected the prophet to lay hands and pronounce his healing. But when the prophet told him to go deep in river Jordan. He got angry. He felt insulted that he should be sent to river Jordan of all places! “After all there are other better rivers God could have chosen.”  He thought. And he nearly missed his miracle! But when Naaman decided to humbled himself to God’s instruction,  he was instantly healed! (2 Kings 5:1-14).

When Lazarus was sick, Mary expected Jesus to raise him from the sick-bed. But God decided it was better to raise him from the dead after four days in the grave. (John 11). So what miracle do you need from God? Pray and believe God to do it however He chooses. Let go of your preconceived ideas and trust God to do it for you His way.

Prayer Confession: Father I thank you by faith for answered prayer. By the power of the Holy Spirit I receive an understanding of God’s guidance for my deliverance. I walk by faith and not by sight. This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad. I refuse to worry, or be anxious. I come against the spirit of fear and discouragement in Jesus name. I shall not be frustrated, I am not a victim of my circumstances but an overcomer of every impossible situation confronting me. I am empowered to walk in divine health. every organ, in my body receive divine auction to function perfectly in Jesus name. I am lifted by divine hand out of the pit of sickness, and death. No destruction or perilous pestilence will come near my family. I am a candidate for divine favor and success. I receive divine acceleration in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection: “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." ( Isaiah 55:8-9)
