“Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].” (Ephesians 6:13).
The Bible says to do all that you know, and then STAND. In other to be able to stand strong in the battles of life and win, we must develop strong faith. If your faith is weak you will not be able to stand and resist the voices of fear, doom and gloom most especially, in this End Times season we are living in, where leaders and nations are troubled and perplexed! Sometimes when we read about great heroes of faith in the Bible or hear about great men and women outside the Bible that God has used to accomplish great things in life, some of us tend to think they must have had some ‘Special Faith’ for God to have used them like that.
Actually that is not a true statement. In fact, we all have the same faith as the heroes of Faith in and outside the Bible. Every believer in Jesus Christ is given the same faith of God. The Bible says, “For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it. 10 God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
And the Scriptures tell us that, Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2). Clearly, that shows that, we have the same faith of Jesus when He walked this earth. It is the faith of Jesus Christ that is imparted to us, the Apostles, and all the other heroes of faith. We were all given the same faith of God, but the difference is that, some grow their faith and some don’t. Everything in the Kingdom of God is like a seed. (Mark 4:11-20). If you plant your faith it will grow. God has given to every man a measure of faith. And when we use it, we can overcome the impossible.
The Bible recorded in Hebrews, great heroes of faith who through their faith subdued kingdoms and turned their world upside down! (Hebrews 11:33). That is why the Bible says, whosoever is born of God has overcome the world. (1 John 5:4). We can overcome the world, not because of natural strength and abilities, but because, it is the Faith of God in us. The same faith in Jesus Christ! There is nothing in the world that can intimidate God or stop Him. No power in the whole of the universe and no devil from hell, can stop God from doing what He has promised to do in your life! God operates by the supernatural law. And the supernatural will always rule over the natural! My friend, be encouraged today, it’s time to break out from the natural into the supernatural for your family’s salvation, finances, healing and your destiny in God.
Prayer confession: Dear Heavenly father, thank you for your grace in my life. I am so excited about the life you have given me. I have a wonderful life in Christ! My life is a life of dominion, power, purpose and victory. Through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit living in me and guiding me I shall make my way successful in life. God has not given me the spirit of timidity but I have the Spirit of power, love and sound mind. I declare by faith, my life is a manifestation of the excellency and victory of the finished work of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection power! In Jesus Name. Amen!
Reflection:"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6).
