From the beginning of creation, the original plan of God for us was to have dominion over the earth, the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth. God’s will for us was to have an abundant and overflowing life. But it only lasted until Adam’s rebellion opened the door for sin and changed everything.
Sin brought separation from God. The disastrous consequences were pain, decay and spiritual death on the entire human race. Yet, despite our sinful state and rebellion towards God, God in His mercy and love sent His Son, Jesus to our world to reveal His love and to bring us out of death into life.
