“In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God.” (John 1:1). By revelation of the Holy Spirit, John knew that Jesus is the Word of God. It’s unthinkable that Jesus can fail. Therefore, if Jesus cannot fail, the Word of God cannot fail.
When things don’t work out the way we expected, we should not be discouraged. We should trust that God has a better plan for us. Instead of focusing on the problem and getting more and more discouraged we should focus on the Word. Renewing our minds with God’s promises and trust God’s plan, with ‘the how’ and ‘the when’. “In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9.).
The thing about God is that, He has a broader picture on things whilst we tend to have a narrow view. For example, Mary and Martha wanted Jesus to heal their brother, Lazarus, but Jesus wanted to do a greater miracle and work in Lazarus’s life. (John 11). God has more than enough wisdom and resources to get you out of any problem. But He wants you to trust His plan.
“Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone Am God! I Am God, and there is none like Me. Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.” (Isaiah 46:9-10).
