Hi, I’m Shade Akinbiyi, so glad to have you here! Thank you for visiting Prophetic Voice.
The purpose of this Ministry is to share the Gospel so that the lost will be saved and to equip believers to grow in the knowledge of faith following after Jesus Christ.
I grew up full of insecurity, lacking confidence with very low self esteem. I considered myself a sinner with no value. I believed I wasn’t good enough for God to be interested in me; not to talk of having a purpose for my life. I thought I had to save my self by my good deeds. Until when I heard the simple Gospel message that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die for all sinners. And what I needed was to put my faith in what Jesus has done on the cross and trust Him to save me.
That was good news to me! I never heard or understood the message like that even though I was familiar with church attendance. And so, I prayed and accepted Jesus into my heart and I became a born again Christian. And as I began to read the Bible for myself, growing in my spiritual walk with God I began to realise God has a unique plan and meaningful purpose for every life.
Getting to know me more, I am a mother to two precious children and a grand daughter. I studied media production and I worked in media and advertising in Nigeria before moving to the United Kingdom. After becoming a believer I attended a full year Bible School and other training courses. I have been privileged to serve in different capacities both within the church walls and in secular fields through community outreaches to various causes.
I believe the most important thing a believe can possess is the priceless knowledge of God. As the Bible says “I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:16-19).
God has given us every thing we need for life but without the knowledge of our faith we cannot know who we are and what our purpose is. My passion is for believers to grow into full maturity through the study of God’s word.
