Your Children are Destined to Win

Growing in Faith

7 Oct

??????????????????

“Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.” (Deuteronomy 7:9).

It is very clear that we are living in the days of a perverse generation. A generation where bad is good and righteousness  is considered old fashion and out of date. The Bible predicts that in the last days extreme wickedness will come on the earth. The devil is determined to assault and attack everything pressures to us, most especially our children. But then, we are not defenceless! When you are in covenant relationship with God your seed (children) are precious to God.

As you remain faithful to God, He will remember and deliver them from the evil one. The Lord remembered Abraham’s children when they were toiling in slavery in Egypt. (Exodus 2:24). He delivered them from the afflictions of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt and blessed them their with their inheritance, the promised land. David said, ” …I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor their seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25).

Even in adverse times God will preserve your children. In Genesis 26, Isaac was in the midst of adversity, there was famine in the land. He wanted to run to Egypt so as to escape the famine, but God told him not to run. The Lord reminded him of His covenant with his father Abraham, and God promised to protect him in the midst of famine. (Genesis 26:5). Isaac sowed in dry perched land and the Lord supernaturally prospered him. God caused him to rise above everyone  in the land, that even the king feared him.

What can you see about your children right now? When God called Abraham and told him to look to the north, south, west and the east, God was not talking about what he could see with his physical eyes but the eyes of faith. Even though, the devil may be roaring like a lion wanting to devour our children, but  the word of God declares,  no weapon of evil against them will prosper. (Isaiah 54:13).  Beloved you have nothing to fear, when the devil brings the battle to your gate, stand your ground on the Word, and believe to  see the salvation of the Lord.

Prayer Confession: Thank you Father that the fruit of my body is blessed. My children are head and not tail. No weapon of wickedness will prevail against them. The Lord will deliver them from the stronghold on the evil one.  As I teach and instruct my children the way of the Lord they shall not depart from the righteous path. They shall hear the voice of the good shepherd and will not follow the voice of the wicked one. The Word of the Lord shall not depart from their mouth and the generations after them. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Reflection: “Their descendants will be recognized and honored among the nations. Everyone will realize that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” (Isaiah 61:9).
